"Moore Awareness" was founded by Melissa Moore, a Leukemia survivor who continues to win her battle. Since my diagnosis I have been exposed to a world I never new existed. A world of pain and suffering that I can hardly comprehend.

I have started "Moore Awareness"
for two reasons. One reason is because during my treatments I have spent countless hours at the cancer clinic with other cancer patients and often carry my "Awareness Tote" to give an invitation for conversation with other patients or family members who are also fighting the same disease. These totes give awareness in a world that needs to know the effect that cancer is having on our society today.

The second purpose I have is to let people know the effect cancer is having on our society by telling them how their purchase from Moore Awareness can give hope. Every day there are more than 6,000 children, men and women who seek the National Marrow Donor Program Registry in hopes to find a match for a Bone Marrow donor transplant. For most Leukemia, Lymphoma, and other life threatening diseased patients this is their only hope.

Since my diagnosis I have lost too many friends that would still be alive today if only they had a donor match from the registry. "Moore Awareness" is using ALL of the proceeds to fund bone marrow donor drives and kits that otherwise cost $52 to the donor.
